The process of enamel frit melting will mainly go through four stages of reaction: dehydration stage, primary reaction stage, silicate formation stage, and mixing stage. After four stages of reaction, the enamel frit we see is finally formed. So how to test the quality inspection of enamel frit melting? At present, there are three methods commonly used to test the melting of enamel and enamel for reference.

1. Drawing method

The wire drawing method is to use a stainless steel drill to pick out the enamel melt, and quickly pull it into filaments by hand when it flows freely, and judge the degree of melting of the enamel according to the number of granules. General inspection standard: 2~3 knots are allowed within 1m of nickel ground coat; 3~4 knots are allowed within 1m of single enamel antimony finish; 4~5 knots are allowed within 1m of antimony ground coat; 1m of antimony smooth enamel is allowed 2~3 knots are allowed inside; the titanium enamel is brushed without knots.

2. Pull tab

This method is used for industrial acid-resistant cover coat. A stainless steel brazing tool is used to pick out the melt and pull it into a thin sheet, which is judged by the color of the sheet, the condition of air bubbles and granulation. Industrial acid-resistant top coat do not allow air bubbles and graining on the flakes.

3. Contrast method

Compare the just-made frit with the standard sample of the same variety, and its color should be within the allowable difference range. The color of the enamel enamel should be: the nickel ground coat is a brown-black translucent frit; the single enamel antimony enamel is a white and shiny frit with a slight yellow shade; the antimony ground coat is white with a darker yellow shade ; Antimony smooth enamel is white and shiny frit; Titanium white enamel is light brown transparent.
