The process of removing moisture from products coated with enamel slurry is called drying. There are two types of drying equipment: intermittent and continuous.

Operation precautions and requirements:

1. The drying should be done first in the low temperature area and then gradually transferred to the high temperature area. The temperature in the low temperature area is 50~60℃, and the temperature in the high temperature area is 250~300℃. If it is placed in a low temperature area for a long time, cold stamping will occur, and the ground coat will even produce rust point defects. If you suddenly enter the high temperature area, defects such as thermal shock will occur;

2. Enhancing the air circulation in the drying room can effectively improve the drying efficiency and reduce defects such as drying and flushing. When drying small-diameter pot products, the temperature should not be high, and ventilation must be strengthened;

3. The operation is to place the product tongs on the drying rack or the drying net with the drying (boiling) tongs, and the edge of the product is in contact with the teeth of the drying rack or the drying net, and the mouth can be downward or upward. When pliers should be flat, avoid shaking and vibration, so as to avoid enamel flow. The enamel slurry at the bottom and corners of the product dried with the mouth upwards will be thicker, and vice versa, the edge will be thicker, which can be selected according to the actual situation.
