The two-enamelling and two-fired powder method is one of the processes of the enamelling system. This means that the enamel base is washed, dried, powder-coated and enamelled only once. The main advantage of the two-enamelling and two-firing powder method is that the final enamel layer is fired with a thinner thickness, with a typical size of 4-5 μm, which can make the porcelain layer have a high surface quality and lower production costs. This powder enamel process system is often used to manufacture parts such as door linings, furnace floors, and oven floors.
