Information

Thin steel plate is divided into hot-rolled plate and cold-rolled two kinds. Generally, cold-rolled thin steel plate is used for enamel, which has good stamping performance, plasticity and high extension rate, and has good enameling performance, preventing enamel quality defects and The production of defects.

The quality of enamel steel plate has a great influence on enamel products (see the article "The Effect of Enamel Steel Steel Quality on Enamel"), and the chemical composition of thin steel plate is the main factor affecting the stamping performance and enameling performance.

(a) Carbon (C)

The lower carbon content can increase the plasticity and toughness of the thin steel plate, which is beneficial to stamping processing, and is also one of the important factors to ensure the quality of enamel products.

(2) Silicon (Si), Manganese (Mn)

Silicon and manganese can dissolve in the ferrite structure of the thin steel plate, increasing the strength and hardness of the thin steel plate. Manganese can also weaken the harm of sulfur to the brittleness of thin steel plates. The thin steel plate with high silicon content has poor plasticity and affects the adhesion between the enamel and the thin steel plate.

(3) Sulfur (S), Phosphorus (P)

Sulfur and phosphorus are harmful impurities in thin steel plates, which make thin steel plates brittle and hard, significantly reduce the plasticity and toughness of thin steel plates, and affect stamping performance.

(4) Titanium (Ti)

Titanium can refine grains in steel, prevent the growth tendency of austenite grains, and enhance the strength and toughness of thin steel plates. A thin steel plate containing a certain amount of titanium can play a good role in improving the quality of enamel.

Requirements for the chemical composition range of steel plates for enamelling:

Carbon (C)≤0.12% Manganese (Mn) 0.25~0.40%

Silicon (Si) <0.04% Sulfur (S) <0.04%

Phosphorus (P)<0.04%
