However, phosphate enamel has a certain corrosion resistance to HF, because it is easy to hydrolyze, so its chemical stability is worse than other enamel.

Sodium phosphate is an ideal raw material for introducing P2O5. Its molecular formula is Na3PO4•12H2O, its molecular weight is 380.14, its density is 1.62g/cm³, and its melting point is 734°C. At 100°C, it loses crystal water and forms anhydrous phosphide with a specific gravity of 2.537 and a melting point of 1340°C.
