Bayer enamel test sieve is a kind of more practical test sieve, it is mainly composed of the following units

The sieve size of the test sieve mainly depends on the function of various enamel slurries. For dipping or spray enamelling, the pore size of the sieve is 100 microns = 3600 meshes per square centimeter. For electrostatic dry powder coating, the sieve pore size is 75. Micron = 6400 mesh per square centimeter. For aluminum enamel frit, it is required to grind finer. The aperture of the mesh is 40 microns = 16900 mesh per square centimeter. These meshes are consistent with the standard DIN1171.
In order to test the fineness of the ball mill, fill the measuring cup (12.5ml) with the enamel slurry, to the upper side, forcefully rinse the sample through the funnel to the test sieve, and then rinse the enamel slurry through the test sieve, preferably swing in a water container Sieving funnel.
When the finer enamel slurry particles are washed away, the coarser enamel slurry particles with a diameter larger than the aperture of the test sieve are still on the test sieve. After the clean water has rinsed the sifting funnel, the sieving process is over, then plug the measuring cylinder with a stopper and fill it with water. Put the sieving funnel on it and use a strong flow of water to pass through the sieve from the foreign trade. Vibration removes the remaining bubbles, through the vibration, it passes into the measuring cylinder, and then removes the remainder. According to the calibrated scale, we can immediately see how much it is.
The percentage of coarse particles in the enamel slurry can be calculated by multiplying by the reading unit factor. Because the accuracy of this test is not high, it is impossible to calculate the percentage content to two decimal places. This is a more typical manual operation and is more suitable for factory workshop operations.
