1. Sulfur (S): Sulfur will form iron sulfide (FeS) with iron, and form manganese sulfide (MnS) with manganese. Their presence in steel will give the structure of the brittle plate of the steel. After hot and cold working, it will promote The formation of striae structure reduces the plasticity and toughness of the steel, that is, reduces the tensile performance, especially the performance in the transverse direction, and bubbles and pores will appear in the porcelain layer.

However, sulfide is beneficial to improve the anti-scalding performance, so a certain content of sulfur will be retained in the enamel steel plate, so that the sulfur exists in the form of a compound, and the content is generally not more than 0.04%.

2. Silicon (Si): Silicon added to steel is very beneficial to enamel materials, because it can combine with various components in the enamel to increase the adhesion between the porcelain layer and the steel plate, and it is not easy to produce small holes and small bubbles . Silicon, like manganese, is a deoxidizer for carbon steel smelting. Steel plates with a silicon content of less than 0.37% can generally be stretched, but if this value is exceeded, even steel with a very low carbon content will become It is hard and brittle, not suitable for deep drawing processing, and affects the adhesion between enamel enamel and thin steel plate.

Adding silicon and manganese can improve the strength of steel, but the higher the content, the worse the formability of the steel.

3. Titanium (Ti): Titanium is an active metal that easily forms titanium dioxide (TiO2) with oxygen, absorbs hydrogen and oxygen (TiN), and also forms a stable compound (TiS) with sulfur, which can prevent the steel sheet from sintering Scale popping occurs, but increasing the content impairs the formability of the steel sheet.

4. Aluminum (Al): Aluminum can react with dilute strong acids (such as dilute hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid, etc.) to generate hydrogen and corresponding aluminum salts. Aluminium-containing steel can be continuously cast, the composition is thinner and the impurities are less, the cold working ability is good, and it is not easy to break during drawing processing, but the biggest disadvantage is that fish scales are prone to burst defects after enameling and reduce the adhesion strength, so the aluminum content should not exceed 0.05% .
